The underpass at Mysore Railway station which connects the multiple platforms at the station to the exit/entrance is a visual treat, thanks to amazing wall paintings depicting the rich culture, tradition and destinations of Karnataka.

SAKREBAILU ELEPHANT CAMP
Sakrebailu Elephant Camp, near the banks of river Tunga, is an eco-tourism center, located about 14 km from Shimoga and about 320 km from Bengaluru. The attraction of the place is the numerous captive elephants as well as wild elephants from nearby forest that frequents the place for drinking water and bathing in the river. A Jungle lodge is also present at the Sakrebyle Elephant Camp.

NANDI HILLS
Located just 60 km from Bengaluru, Nandi Hills is a favorite getaway place for the adventure seekers from Bengaluru. A bike ride to Nandi Hills to witness the sunrise and enjoy the clouds drift around will be a memorable experience. Though the painting depicts a Nandi statue, I do not remember seeing a Nandi statue (except a small one) on the hilltop temples.

BIDAR
Bidar is located about 700 km away from Bengaluru and is a bordering city with Maharashtra and Telangana. Bidar is also called as the City of Whispering Monuments. Tourism-wise, Bidar is known for “Bidar fort” (Painting 1), a 14th century Mahmud Gawan Madrasa and for the Gurudwara Nanak Jhira Sahib, which is considered as one of the prime places of worship for the Sikh community. The second painting in all likelihood is the Mahmud Gawan Madrasa, but can even be the Gurudwara (both has a similar looking tomb). Confirmation needed!
